ROY AND THE DEVIL'S MOTORCYCLE

ROY AND THE DEVIL'S MOTORCYCLE are one of the most unique bands from Switzerland. Growing up in the Bernese mountains in a tiny country village, in the mid 80's they moved to a town a little bigger where there was a rock club. Here they saw bands like Space Man 3, The Monsters, Jumping On The Train and Back From the Grave Garage Punk at the age of 15 years. Roy and the Devil’s Motorcycle at this time were recording their first tapes with incredible lo-fi sound fear and amazing cover design.. all that stuff continued as they grew up.. as well as getting high on drugs and listening to punk rock and blues and mixing all things together. They openned up their own recording and producing studios 'ROY HOME PRODUCTIONS' where they recorded their music, and a lot of visual products such as t-shirts, posters and record covers – all in ultra limited editions. The most berserk and nuts ideas found a place in 'ROY HOME PRODUCTIONS.' The art and music of 'ROY HOME PRODUCTIONS' have always been symbiotic. Sonically this energy is expressed as hypnotic and slow – and somehow fast living at the same time. You can't believe it.. The band take aspects from the Velvet Underground, Desperate Garage Punk, Jimmy Reed, Howling Wolf, Spaceman 3, Gories and they mix it all together with their own special crazyness which serves to make their recordings so unique.
